A hearty, Herbed Chicken Stew from the Veneto called "Polastro in Tecia," taught by Ken Borelli. The recipe was featured in the Jan/Feb 2026 edition of the IAHF News and served at a regional lunch about the cuisine of the Veneto region of Italy. ​​​​

Following the lunch will be guest speaker Ximena Romero, a sophomore from Presentation High School. She will share some of her personal research on the Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti trials of the 1920. See the June Newsletter for additional details-click here

Would you like to volunteer at our events?
Did you know we have a new and improved way to sign up to volunteer at our events?
You can now go online and register to volunteer at events: just pick your event(s), watch the recycling video, sign the waiver, and get specific details as the event date approaches. You only need one form for multiple events when listed, not one for each. Check back often as volunteer event needs get added. Sign up early as we have limited spots to fill.
If you volunteered with us before your waiver is on file, select you name from pulldown and select your event and follow signup prompts to complete & submit. However, you must now watch the new recycling video and re-sign your form.
