The Italian American Heritage Foundation offers scholarships each school year. The scholarships encourage and assist young people in the pursuit of better educational opportunities and offer to help students meet their financial needs. An additional aim is to help stimulate more interest in Italian culture among young people. Our essay contests for high school students promote a greater understanding and appreciation of the positive contributions of Italian Americans. The scholarship applications are open to seniors of attending a high school in Santa Clara County, or as a dependent of an I.A.H.F. member. The applicants major can be in any academic field. Interested applicants should request an application from the I.A.H.F. Scholarship Committee, 425 North Fourth Street, San Jose CA 95112; or phone 408-293-7122.
